You must know that it does not come with Pax Era Pods, so you have to purchase them separately.

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen was originally available on the official website for $50, but as of now, it is listed for $30. You do not get the personalization option or any complete kit add-ons. It is a simple device that needs no accessories other than the USB-C cable. However, you must know that it’s only compatible with Pax Era Pods, which you have to purchase separately. 

Design & Build Quality 

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has a compact body that is 3.3 inches long. It fit perfectly inside my palm, and I could conceal it entirely to ensure privacy. The face of the device had the OG ‘X’ LED indicator to help monitor the temperature intensities and battery life. 

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen is a simple-looking product that has a classy and smooth feel for elegant usage. The battery is internal, so you cannot carry an extra set for more power. The micro-USB port is located at the bottom of the device. It comes with a 1-year warranty period, which is enough for a vape pen. 

Vaping Performance

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has a potent heating system that produces vapors instantly upon making a draw. It is compatible with 0.5 and 1.0-gram Pax Era Pods. However, I personally prefer devices compatible with 510 cartridges because they are easily available on the market. Moreover, the Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has four intensities that you can opt from, unlike the Pax Era Go Vape Pen which has a single temperature intensity. 

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has a patented temperature control that efficiently extracts goodness from the oils and waxes. It keeps the flavor, aroma, and potency intact throughout the session. However, this device does not have anti-clog technology, so you might experience draw resistance initially during the sessions. 

Battery Life & Charging

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has the best-performing battery in the Era product line. The 240 mAh battery performs 65% better than the other models as the run-time is 250 puffs on average. It can satisfy your taste buds for 8 or 10 sessions in a single charging cycle. The number of puffs and sessions depends entirely on the length of the draws.

The charging port is micro-USB. It takes around 45 minutes to refill the battery entirely. Unlike the Pax Era Go Vape Pen, this device lacks a USB-C charging port. Despite this absence, the charging stats are not miserable.

Ease Of Use

I like the overall ease of using the Pax Era Pro Vape Pen along with the integration of modern technology. The device has four preset temperature intensities comprising 270, 320, 370, and 420 degrees Celsius. You can conveniently switch the temperature settings by monitoring the mobile app and LED indicator on the face. 

The smartphone app has several handy features like temperature settings, dosage control, and lock-out features. The physical controls are simple as it has the pop-and-click technique to switch the intensities. You have to lift the pod and put it back in. Once the pod clicks, the petal will change color. Continue the pop and click until you reach the right temperature intensity. 

The heating system is draw-activated, so forget to press any button after selecting your favorite intensity. The haptic feedback is an incredible mechanism to track the device’s status. These features really make using the Pax Era Pro Vape Pen fun. 

Customization Option 

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen is not as customizable as other vaporizers on the market, but it surely competes well with other vape pens in the Era series. This device is not compatible with 510 cartridges which is one of its major shortcomings. 510 cartridges are the most abundantly used refilling accessories for extracts. Despite this, the manufacturer has decided to continue with the Pax Era Pods. You do not get the personalization option from the manufacturer like you get after purchasing other Pax devices.

The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has four temperature settings that allow you to tweak intensities according to your needs. The smartphone app allows you to set your favorite intensities and control the dosage. The ability to switch between physical and mobile app controls is a convenient feature to have at your disposal. 

Safety Features 

Pax Labs has integrated several safety features into the Pax Era Pro Vape Pen. The mobile app has dosage settings that help monitor oil consumption. The lock-out feature prevents other people from using your device. The Pax Era Pro Vape Pen has haptic feedback that lets you know what happens inside the heating system. The vibration is often undermined as a safety feature, but I find it value-adding.

Moreover, the Pax Era Pods are made of food-grade material to keep your smoking sessions healthy. The medical standard body parts make sure that no vapor gets contaminated by radiation.

The charging time is average, but it supports mobile app controllability, which is a welcome addition to the overall set of features. 

I recommend the Pax Era Pro Vape Pen to all those smokers who demand easier usage or have just started vaping. Teenagers can afford this device and use it on the go. The design, feel, and compactness make it an ideal product for young people.
