PAX Mini Review
The PAX Mini is not merely a shrunken version of PAX; it is a studied venture of strategic minimalism and removing what is not entirely necessary. With its 0.25g oven, it lends itself to microdosing / solo sessions, and the conduction heating method with its dynamic temperature algorithm adjusts to your draw style, throughout a session, between around 360°F – 420°F (182C – 215C). This has the advantage of giving consistently tasty, terpene-rich vapour but, on the downside, is not very cloud productive.
The Mini has a fast 22-second heat-up time and includes a non-removable 3000mAh battery capable of up to 2.5 hours of use (8-15 sessions). Although it does not use multiple heat levels, the capability to use concentrates, and haptic feedback, such features were not overlooked by design, rather making it the simplest premium device to start with.
