CCell Rizo Review – Is CCell Rizo Worth it?

The CCell Rizo is one of the most popular handheld 510 batteries on the market. I instantly decided to purchase it after going through the launch video. Its size and classy finish made it feel like a very usable device.

I bought the CCell Rizo online for 30 dollars. It offers more value than just the compact size. The variable voltage and simple usage add exceptional value to your smoking sessions.

My perception regarding the CCell Rizo was that it is a casual product meant for on-and-off vaping.

However, unlike most 510 batteries on the market, the features impressed me. It is a complete package that needs a review. This article explains my experience regarding the CCell Rizo.

CCell Rizo Review – Is CCell Rizo Worth it?

ccell rizo reviews

The CCell Rizo did not fail the quality test when considering what other substitutes provide. It is a compact product that fits and conceals in your palm. Its classy color scheme, paired with the smooth metallic finish, stole my heart. Other features did not disappoint me as well.

The easy cartridge connections make usage easy. The shorter charging time and smaller size make it a must-buy product for travelers. Variable voltage is a luxury for those users, like changing their smoking preference depending on mood.

My suggestion is clear. Purchase the CCell Rizo if you fancy style with quality. A few drawbacks, like shorter battery life and awkward voltage switch, can restrict usage. However, these shortcomings do not affect the overall utility of this device.

  1. The design is classy and premium.
  2. It has a durable metallic body.
  3. It depicts the battery life when the cartridge is connected.
  4. The magnetic connections are secure and easy to operate.
  5. The variable voltages provide a more distinct smoking experience.
  6. The heating system is draw-activated and simple to operate.
  7. The haptic feedback provides you with more control.
  8. The USB-C port ensures a shorter charging time.

Cons

  1. The magnetic connectors can get lost.

What’s inside the box?

The CCell Rizo comes in standard packaging, where I found the following items:

  1. The CCell Rizo device,
  2. A USB-C cable,
  3. 2 x magnetic connectors,
  4. And a user manual.

Durability and class

Durability is one of the key features that you should not worry about while purchasing the CCell Rizo. It has a metallic body. The shell is made of aluminum and zinc alloy. It can sustain external pressure, unlike fragile vape pens.

It comes in black and silver colors, which look decent. I will rank it among my most preferred devices for official use because it has a stylish and classy shell. The base is silicone to protect the charging port and voltage switch.

It is rounded from the bottom, so it cannot stand upright like most 510 batteries. There is no button besides the voltage switch (discussed later). The indicators on the top are ideal for prompt feedback.

Compact size

Portability is common in most CCell products, and Rizo is no exception. It has 62.7 mm x 34 mm x 14.8 mm of dimensions. It fits perfectly inside the palm.

The 42.5 grams of weight is easy to carry anywhere. Now, a random vaping session is possible everywhere because you can pull the CCell Rizo from your pocket and conceal it in your palm while in use.

Compatibility

The CCell Rizo is designed to suit all oil cartridges, provided they have a 510-thread connection. Another important thing to remember is the cartridge diameter. It must not exceed 12 millimeters. This device has a magnetic connection like other CCell devices.

You need to screw the magnetic connectors on the base of the cartridge before snapping it in place. I liked the LED feedback where the device lights up and shows the remaining battery when the cartridge is connected.

Variable voltage switch

The CCell Rizo differs from other 510 batteries because it has unique voltage controls. It is a variable-voltage device, as it operates at two intensities mentioned below:

  1. Low (2.8 volts) – suitable for smooth and flavorful hits.
  2. High (3.3 volts) – produces dense vapors with less flavor priority.

These voltage settings can be adjusted using the switch integrated at the bottom. Intensity adjustment felt weird when I started using the CCell Rizo, but I got used to it afterward. The voltage switch is hidden inside the silicone compartment at the base.

Draw-activation

I liked the button-free heating technology where you need to make a draw. The CCell Rizo handles the heating system without user interference. The draw-activated system is convenient to use. The company has integrated the CCell Rizo with over-inhale protection of ten seconds.

Other controls

Apart from not having a power button, the CCell Rizo has other value-adding features. I found the haptic feedback helpful, informing you when a draw is initiated. There is a three-bar LED indicator that communicates the device’s status. It is narrow but classy.

Battery life

The battery capacity of the CCell Rizo is the most disappointing feature. It is less capable than devices like CCell Palm Pro and CCell Silo. The company could have offered a better power source since it is known for producing marathon smoking devices with compact bodies. Despite a small battery, the CCell Rizo lasts a few days (depending on the selected voltage intensity).

Charging

Charging time is a critical indicator of the power stats’ efficiency. The CCell Rizo has a USB-C charging port that never disappoints with its shorter recharge time.

The device has a silicone lid at the base to prevent water damage or dust accumulation. I rarely find companies paying attention to the charging port.
