Oven Capacity: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

Comparing the oven capacities of all three vaporizers, we can see that the Pax Plus has a larger oven than the Pax 3 and Pax Mini. Pax Plus has a capacity of 0.5 grams, while the Pax 3 can only carry 0.35 grams.

On the other hand, the Pax Mini has an overcapacity of 0.25, which means it stands last in terms of oven capacity. Pax Plus has a bigger oven, but the device still needs to be fixed for group sessions.

Battery: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

As we all know, a battery plays a very important role in an electric vaporizer; a bigger battery means more charging capacity, and you can use the device for longer. All three devices have a lithium-ion battery and a magnetic USB charger. However, the battery capacity varies. Check Pax Plus review.

If we talk about the battery of all three vaporizers, Pax Plus is a winner with a 3500mAh battery. You’ll be glad to know that besides its smaller size, the Pax Mini has a 3000mAh battery, while the Pax, once called the iPhone of Vaporizers, has a 2500mAh battery.

If you are looking for a powerful bigger battery that lasts longer and makes you enjoy the hits longer, Pax Plus is a better choice.

Heating & Temperature Settings: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

All three vaporizers have a conduction heating system, so you don’t have to use external heating devices like lighters and torches. Pax 3, Pax Plus, and Pax Mini have an efficient heating mechanism that will heat the herbs evenly without burning them and ruining the flavor.

If we talk about the temperature, the Pax Mini does not have the option to choose between temperatures as it comes with a single preset temperature that is only suitable for some. On the other hand, the Pax 3 and Pax Plus have four temperatures that can be changed according to your preference. Check Pax Mini Review.

Both the devices have almost the same temperature range of 182°C-215°C which in Fahrenheit is 360°F-420°F. Pax 3 and Pax plus heat up in 15 to 22 seconds, depending on your selected temperature.

Additionally, it could be more pleasant in the case of Pax Mini as it comes with a single temperature but still takes the same time to heat up as the other two vaporizers.

Furthermore, if you are looking for a vaporizer that allows you to change and select a temperature that suits you, then you should go for Pax 3 or Pax Plus, but if you are a beginner and need lighter to moderate hits, plus if you want hits on the go then go for the Pax Mini.

What Can you Smoke?: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

Pax 3 and Pax Plus are dual-use devices; you can smoke dry herbs and concentrates with both devices. When comparing what each device is compatible with, the Pax 3 and Pax Plus are tied.

Pax Mini is only compatible with dry herbs, so you must purchase a separate concentrate-compatible device if you purchase the Pax Mini. Check Pax 3 Review.

Portable & Discreet Vaporizer: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

If you are wondering which Pax vaporizer device is more portable and discreet among Pax 3, Pax Plus, and Pax Min, then you will be surprised that all Pax’s vaporizers are equally portable. Due to their sleek design, less weight, and small size, the devices fit in the palm of your hand and your pants pocket.

But the Pax Mini doubles down this feature as it is even smaller than Pax 3 and Pax Plus. You will find no other vaporizer this size, and if you plan to purchase an extremely portable and discreet vaporizer, Pax Mini is made just for you.

Vapor Quality: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

Vapor quality varies from device to device and user, as some prefer lighter or mild vapors, and others like to get milkier, smoother, and bigger vapors.

While using Pax 3 and Pax Plus, you can toggle between temperature ranges; you can decrease the temperature to the lowest if you prefer light vapors and raise the temperature for milkier, smooth, and big vapors.

The Pax 3 and Pax Plus devices have been designed for experienced smokers who prefer a device packed with options. In contrast, the Pax Mini is an adequate device for beginners as it has only one temperature and gives mild vapors to fulfill the need.

Furthermore, it is also observed while using Pax 3 and Pax Plus that both the devices give you clean and flavourful hits at the start, but as you raise the temperature, the taste is compromised as it feels hot and harsh.

Price Point: Pax Plus vs. Pax 3

The Pax Mini is a newly launched vaporizer that is available for $150. The device is suitable for beginners and users who need to get hits on the go. It may not have as many features as Pax 3 and Pax Plus, but it is surely a great device in terms of portability.

The price is high as it is only compatible with dry herbs, and you cannot use it with concentrates. As it is a newly launched device, it has a higher price, but there is a chance that it may get repriced after a few months or years.

The Pax Plus is available for $250, and its performance and features justify its price. The device has a sleek design, is compatible with dry herbs and concentrates, has a powerful battery, and, most importantly, is portable and discreet.

On the other hand, the Pax 3 was once a popular vaporizer among many smokers, but now it seems the game is over with the device. It is available at the Pax online store for $175. However, comparing both devices, the Pax 3 is a much better option than Pax Mini. The prices are almost identical, but Pax 3 offers more.

Pax Plus vs. Pax 3: Which one is good?

We have discussed all three vaporizers thoroughly and saw that the Pax Plus has an advantage over Pax 3 and Pax Mini. It is a sophisticated design, performance wise it does a great job and fits at a great price point.

On the other hand, the Pax mini is a newly launched vaporizer compatible only with dry herbs, so you must purchase a separate device if you need to smoke concentrates and extracts. Pax has designed it for people who travel frequently and don’t have much time to play with settings or toggle between temperatures.

This will suit newbies but is not suitable for experienced smokers. The only great thing about Pax Mini is its size which adds to its portability. If we look at the Pax 3, it is much better than the Pax Mini, but the price of both devices is almost the same. So, if you buy Pax Mini, we suggest you go for the Pax 3.

The device has a sleek design, is compatible with dry herbs and concentrates, has a powerful battery, and, most importantly, is portable and discreet.
